The Climate & Freedom International Coalition brings together think tanks, researchers, and policy analysts from different countries to exchange analysis, compare approaches, and explore free market-oriented perspectives on climate, energy, and environmental policy.
Our meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM EST. They are held online (via Zoom), are private, and conducted off the record.
We believe that a regime of low taxes, market competition, property rights and the rule of law, and the use of incentives allowing private, tax-exempt debt for property, plant and equipment, to be the optimal method to achieve rapid innovation and decarbonization. Each policy has the capacity to encourage market participation and spur innovation – often with intended – and unintended – benefits to the environment.
Scholars can submit grant applications to Coalition members to research specific topics on these themes, often with the opportunity to present findings at international events, such as the UN COP meetings, Climate Week NYC, National Clean Energy Week in Washington, DC., and other venues.
